A Current Affair
“A Current Affair was the show that launched reality television. The show’s coverage of controversies and scandals challenged the authority of network television news.”
I got hired to work on A Current Affair in the summer of 1995, after a new Executive Producer had come in and cleaned house. I quickly became the go-to “crash” producer – the person responsible for getting that day’s breaking story cut edited and on the air. That was great experience, but mostly I remember loving the field pieces I got to do. Here are a few of my favs.
